TRANSLATION-PROBST Ltd. developments and awards
Innovation, added value, customer focus - three terms, one corporate philosophy. Roman Probst founded TRANSLATION-PROBST Ltd. in 2005 based on the concept of offering quality translations in a fast, simple and secure manner. A vision that has resulted in the following awards:
Distinction awarded by SDL Trados

In addition to this all employees in our CLT department hold certifications for SDL Trados Studio and SDL MultiTerm 2015, 2014 and 2011. In July 2015 we were awarded SDL’s Advantage Plus Partner distinction. Across Switzerland only five translation companies have been given this distinction. Advantage Plus Partners are obliged to improve their know-how of the software in a regular and demonstrable way.
Impeccable climate change measures — distinction awarded by myclimate
We choose bicycles over cars and stairs in place of the lift. This is just a selection of all the measures we have introduced to minimise our ecological footprint. We were able to save 7.33 tons of carbon emissions and as a result were awarded this distinction by myclimate.
Third-best work with the Goldene Feder
On 30 October 2014 the Swiss Association for internal communication awarded the concept work of TRANSLATION-PROBST LTD with a third place ranking. Only two large corporations Swiss Life and SBB were ranked higher. This is the greatest proof that an SME with just 20 employees and a small budget can produce effective communication – both internally and externally.

Young Entrepreneur of the Year
In 2006 the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) in Winterthur awarded TRANSLATION-PROBST Ltd. with the Young Entrepreneur of the Year distinction. This contact with ZHAW helped the company gain a competitive edge over other translation companies. On the one hand this unlocked access to a premium network, e.g. for recruting professors/lecturers as correctors; on the other hand it helped to evaluate new tools and finally opened doors with respect to developing research projects related to texts and corporate identities.
